A June 25 community announcement says the browser editor can create, validate, test, save locally, and export custom maps. The live editor's current help says valid maps appear in Single Player → Custom on the same device, while .zip export is the share path for other players or developers; public inclusion is selective.

In the r/FrontWars feed checked on July 16, 2026, separate player posts report matches stuck on the loading screen, intermittent enemy or map clicks, and trouble joining multiplayer. A reply says mobile games, including single-player, had been unavailable for about 24 hours. These are individual reports, not a confirmed outage or rule change; a same-day desktop and mobile browser check entered a live game, so reopen the official game and verify whether the problem repeats before changing your strategy.
